Who are Les Femmes Celebres?

Genevieve CleghornGenevieve Cleghorn

After working with The City Lit Rep Company, Genevieve completed her MA in European Classical Acting at Drama Centre London last year, which included performances at The Globe and the Vakhtangov Institute, Moscow.
She found her flair for comedy during her training, which led her to develop her character comedy work for her debut show, “Thrilling Pineapples”, last November at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, Islington.  This was her first collaboration with Rosy Benjamin and Nick Brice, and she is delighted to be working with them again on their venture to Edinburgh and beyond!
Genevieve has always had a very positive and pro-active approach to her career; she acted as student publicity co-ordinator for 4th Wall’s production of ‘Road to Nirvana’ at the Kings Head Theatre, Islington, (directed by Colin McFarlane), co-produced the debut reading of Alice Kahrmann’s play ‘Hollow’, and worked three and a half years at RADA, which included organising staged readings of original theatre work with Danny John Jules and Billy  Zane.
